Thirteen Months

My first birthday was just a month ago but it already feels like a lot of time has passed. Lots of new stuff has been happening. Mommy and Daddy seem really impressed with all that I've been doing lately. Let's see, what's new with me?

I can walk now! I was kinda walking last time, but now I feel pretty confident about my walking skills. I can walk long distances—outside, even—and I can handle the level change between the dining room and the living room. I went to the monkey park yesterday and walked alongside Daddy in the squirrel monkey area.

I can also use a spoon by myself too. Mommy mixed her famous meat sauce with rice and I scooped it up with my spoon and fed myself last night. My parents can't stop saying, "Oooh! Big bite!"

I'm going to nursey school every day too. I feel pretty upset when I have to say goodbye to Mommy and Daddy, but once I settle down, I'm able to enjoy playing along with the other kids. I'm looking forward to seeing what other fun things I'll be up to next month.
