Five Years Old

Oh boy, I'm finally five years old. Since I've been Jurassic Park-crazy for the majority of this year, Dad got me a couple Jurassic Park Lego sets and helped my grandma buy me another one. So I've got three of them! My other grandparents mailed me a real batting helmet and battings gloves from the US. I can live out my Cincinnati Reds fantasy now with a helmet, gloves, and a wooden bat. Watch out Joey Votto!

I'm a big deal at my new school too. Been there for nearly six months now. I'm really popular with the girls. When Dad tries to give me a goodbye hug I won't let him. Can't let the other kids see me being lame, right?

Halloween is coming up soon. I think I wanna be Batman again. Lucas will probably be The Flash, so we should be able to live out some Justice League action. Dad says "Dressing up in superhero costumes and getting candy...how's that different from any other day?" But it's different when the old ladies around the neighborhood give it to you. 😄
